AFCEA Washington, DC invites you to attend the 7th Annual Cybersecurity Summit on October 11–12, 2016. This two-day summit will feature keynotes from government leaders, thought-provoking discussion panels, and a number of deep-dive breakout sessions.
 
The Summit is the marquee industry day of continuing education and networking for the cybersecurity community. The event brings together more than 700 thought leaders from multiple federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, intelligence community and others from industry.
 
The opening day of the conference, October 11, will tackle strategies for addressing cyber intelligence, next-generation cyber operations, and insider threats. Hosted at the Grand Hyatt Washington, attendees will be able to explore the avenues of cyber workforce development and training issues impacting tomorrow’s evolving threat environment. Panel topics include:

Cyber Shark Tank

Cyber entrepreneurs contestants will try to convince the sharks to choose their cyber technology over the other presentations. 
 
Interested companies will be provided information on how to give a “Shark Tank” style pitch with specific details to enable them to have the best opportunity to be the one company selected in each session. Early start-ups, as well as large federal system integrators, are eligible to sign up to present their latest and greatest technologies. Judges will select a winner from each Shark Tank session, two total. The winners will be given three minutes to make remarks on stage prior to the Luncheon Keynote, in front of the 700+ summit attendees.
