September Cloud Breakfast

Almost every agency and department within the federal government is moving some part of its software, platform or infrastructure to the cloud. That task is tougher for some agencies and departments than others. The requirements of FedRAMP and the DOD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide are an added challenge, cost and maze to navigate. Hear top government and military experts discuss their cloud strategies and obstacles and how industry can engage.

AFCEA Washington, DC hosts nine monthly breakfast programs featuring a panel of government and military leaders. Our monthly programs draw between 350-400 senior officers and IT professionals from across the Department of Defense, armed services, intelligence and civilian agencies to discuss topics of interest to the DOD IT community, ranging from IT networks to mobility to cybersecurity to UAS/sensors. The goal of our monthly events is to foster better joint warfighting communication, share best practices and lessons learned, and identify mission-critical information technology issues affecting the DOD and military community.
