March Women in DOD Breakfast

Women continue to make strides in the Department of Defense and play an indispensable role in defending America’s national security interests at home and abroad. At the AFCEA Washington, DC breakfast on March 22, we will celebrate female technology leaders who have made a difference at the Pentagon, and we will explore agency priorities, initiatives and programs. With the new Administration getting settled and promising to make a large investment in our nation’s military, this is a crucial time to learn from some of the department’s brightest minds.

AFCEA Washington, DC hosts nine monthly breakfast programs featuring a panel of government and military leaders. Our monthly programs draw between 350-400 senior officers and IT professionals from across the DOD, armed services, intelligence and civilian agencies to discuss topics of interest to the DOD IT community, ranging from IT networks to mobility to cybersecurity to UAS/sensors. The goal of our monthly events is to foster better joint warfighting communication, share best practices and lessons learned, and identify mission-critical information technology issues affecting the DOD and military community.
