Young AFCEA Bethesda Virtual Spring Nexus Event:

Xperience the Future

AFCEA Bethesda is continuing to provide access to our events virtually. We have transitioned our Spring Fling Networking Event into a FREE virtual event where we truly are Xperiencing the Future. We are excited to announce our first ever Young AFCEA Bethesda Virtual Spring Nexus Event on April 22, 2020! The event will feature a moderated discussion on Customer Experience and User Experience opportunities and challenges that agencies are facing in the current situation, followed by audience Q&A and a virtual happy hour. To have that same Spring Fling feel we usually provide, we invite everyone to participate in Bring Your Own Beverage (BOYB) for cheers. This event is limited to the first 100 people, so register today to reserve your spot!

Typically, the proceeds from this event are donated to the Challenger Center. Challenger Center is an international nonprofit that engages over 260,000 students each year in experiential programs to strengthen their knowledge and interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Given the current COVID-19 situation and having transitioned our event to a free virtual event, we would like to encourage you to donate to the Challenger Center.

Proceeds from past Spring Fling Networking Event and Fiscal Networking Events have been used to build programs and make their mission a reality. Their mission is to engage students and teachers in dynamic, hands-on exploration and discovery opportunities that strengthen STEM knowledge, inspire students to pursue careers in these fields, and provide an outlet to learn and apply important life skills. Challenger Center has transitioned to the world of virtual programs via promoting STEM at Home, their free, online activities lessons as well as virtual events.
