Stephanie Keith has over 25 years of government and industry
experience specializing in cybersecurity and cyber workforce. In
her new role with VA, she serves as the Director of
Cybersecurity Workforce Management where she will be
leading change in the development and management of cyber
skills both internally across the VA enterprise and externally for
our Veterans.
Previously, Ms. Keith worked for DoD CIO as Chief of the
Cyber Workforce Strategy & Policy Division where she was
responsible for establishing an enterprise-wide cyber workforce
program enabling advancements in recruitment, training, and
retention. Additionally, she worked at Defense Information
Systems Agency (DISA), providing cybersecurity technical
policy support and guidance. She also worked as a Defense
contractor providing information security communications,
engineering management, and information assurance engineering. Ms. Keith spent three years in
the commercial sector on cybersecurity assessment teams evaluating medical and financial
institutions. Additionally, she worked as a system security engineer and an information systems
security manager in the intelligence community.
