Conrad Bovell currently serves as the Director of Information System Security (DISS) in the
Financial Management Systems Group (FMSG) within the Office of Financial Management
(OFM) at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). DISS provides ISSO and
privacy support to HIGLAS, other OFM FISMA systems and to OFM. Mr. Bovell came to CSM
in 2016 from the Defense Security Service (DSS) where he served most recently as the Chief of
Computer Network Defense. He is an Iraq war veteran and retired Army Warrant Officer who
served providing red and blue team support to US forces, and has occupied various technical
roles with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Counterintelligence Field Activity
(CIFA).
