Linda Cureton has over thirty-four years of extensive experience of Federal Government service, with a strong background in Information Technology management to include experience as a CIO at the federal cabinet level. Well-known as strategic innovator and thought-leader, Mrs. Cureton has a proven ability to develop and execute plans that meet strategic business needs. She is results oriented and focused, delivering critical services through the successful management of nationwide secure infrastructures, enterprise solutions, large data centers, and networks.

She is creative and resourceful with demonstrated achievement in designing, planning, and defining objectives for organizations. A seasoned member of the Senior Executive Service with successful experience leading, building, and motivating winning teams of hundreds of employees at several Federal Agencies. Mrs. Cureton’s business acumen as a senior executive is valuable for providing and understanding of the needs of agencies such as the Department of Education, Department of Housing, NASA, Department of Justice, Department of Energy, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

Mrs. Cureton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Howard University, both a Master of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics and Post-Masters Certificate in Applied Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University.

Mrs. Cureton has received numerous awards and recognition, including the IT Service Management Forum (ITSMF) Heritage Award, 50 Most Important African Americans in Technology, Business Insider 25 Powerful Women Engineers, Washingtonian Magazine Tech Titans, InformationWeek Government CIO 50, and Minority Enterprise Executive Council 50 Women of Influence and Power Award, MEA Magazine: Minority in Business Leadership and Excellence Award. Active in the technology and local communities, Mrs. Cureton served on the Government Information Technology Executive Council as President, Vice Co-Chair on the Industry Advisory Council, former Board Member of Women in Technology, American Council for Technology, as Former Vice-President-at- Large. She is also a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, International Women’s Leadership Association, and the National Association of Professional Women, DCYOP Board of Directors.

She is a highly regarded National and International speaker, and has given keynote speeches, lectures and workshops for companies like: Bloomberg, Harvard Extension Business Society, Harlem Educational Activities Fund, Canadian Cloud Council, Alberta, Canada, Telecom Techworld Exhibition, London, UK, Pro CM, and numerous radio, and magazine interviews on Technology, Leadership, CIO’s, and Women in Technology.
