Joseph Hicks is currently an Acquisition Specialist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under the Office of Research and Development. In this position, Joseph serves as a lead advisor to program officials, subject matter experts, and members of Integrated Project Teams, providing procurement strategy and acquisition assistance on multiple research and development projects throughout the Agency. Joseph began his federal career as a Contract Specialist with the US Army Corp of Engineers in 2009 after six years in the Navy and graduating law school. He went on to become a Contracting Officer with various Federal Agencies to include the US Department of Energy and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Joseph has extensive experience in all phases of the contract life cycle.
